Brooke Pangborn

Apprentice

Brooke Pangborn (she/her) is a current student at Grand Valley State University. She will graduate in Spring of 2026 with a B.S. in Speech Language Pathology and a minor in Dance. During her time at Grand Valley, she has performed in all dance concerts and senior capstone performances. She also had the privilege of getting to work with, and was chosen for, three guest artist pieces; these artists included Renaldo Maurice, Charlie Clark, and Bonnie O’Rourke. Brooke grew up dancing at Academy of the Arts in Jackson, Michigan and was a member of the Jackson Dance Company for eight years. She was trained in all styles of dance, with an emphasis on ballet, jazz, and contemporary. She worked with choreographers Channing Cooke, Tommy Alexander, and Joshua Blake Carter while a part of the Jackson Dance Company. She also gained skills in teaching dance at the age of 15 and continues to teach currently. Brooke will continue her education further, after receiving her bachelor’s degree, and hopes to continue to share her love of dance through teaching.
